Activities of the scientific forum on scientific research and the latest medical innovations

This morning, Monday, April 21, 2025, a scientific forum on scientific research and the latest innovations and developments in the fields of biology and medicine opened at the Faculty of Technology, Hall E. The three-day event is organized by the Bio-Mind Club, the National Elite Association of Medical Sciences in Skikda, and the Skikda Provincial Office of the National Movement of Algerian Students. The Vice-Rector of the University in charge of Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies, Professor Mezzedjri Al Yamine, was present, along with representatives from the Rector of the University, Professor Boufandi Tawfiq, the Dean of the Faculty of Technology, the Coordinator of the Medical Annex, and the administrative staff of the Faculty of Technology, Representatives from the health sector, a group of professors, and a group of medical and biology students were present. During the forum, an exhibition of scientific clubs showcasing innovation and scientific research in medicine and biology was presented, in addition to lectures given by doctors and professors, including Professor Awzar Badis and Dr. Bashkar Iman, coordinator of the medical annex. Doctors Ms. Belambri Sahra Amal and Baziz Islam also spoke, highlighting the latest advancements in medicine and biology. During the evening, training sessions and practical workshops were organized with the participation of the University's Preventive Medicine Unit on the basics of blood sampling. The medical analyses and training courses were very popular with students, especially medical and biology students, as the number of course registrations exceeded 350 students from various specializations, and the course program will be completed the following day, which includes (first aid course, a course on Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder).
